Default PDF query -- Possible to put 10 images in one PDF ?

I hope documentation + file type geniuses here can spare me the agony of going to obscure nerd boards in search of information . . .

SITUATION : I have 12 TIFF CMYK graphic images for an illustration project. They must go to a commercial printer which will put them on containers.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO CREATE ---- ONE --- FOLDER WITH ALL 12 TIFFS in it and then wrap a PDF around that folder ?

To avoid ADOBE's cost, I have downloaded a couple of free PDF tools, but they do not seem to be able to do the task.

If you know of a free exe way to accomplish this I will be very appreciative ... Or should I just fork over ADOBE's price and go with it ?

You could sort of cheat and paste them into a WORD doc and then pdf the WORD doc.

You can select all images and right click the selection- then print to pdf via CutePDF

if you want to keep your images in CMYK and PDF, i'm afraid your only choice is Adobe Acrobat.

Using a virtual printer, you can convert any kind of picture or text into a PDF file . I use DoPDF.

Then there is a very handy freeware program which you can do a lot of things with, the most useful of them being splitting and merging PDF files.
It's called PsfSaM (PDF Split and Merge) :

PDF Split and Merge | Download PDF Split And Merge

As an example of how good stuff I could do with these two programs was to convert some of the articles shown here
The Wireless World Archive
in many JPG pages into a single, nice, multi-pages PDF file.

With a virtual printer like PDF cerator included into the folder sendto (drag&drop from shell:PrintersFolder to shell:sendto) you don't need to view the images before printing. The mentioned PDF creator can merge several documents to one single pdf-file.
