Default Traxmaker copy paste problem?

Hi,

I have a small problem with Traxmaker and maybe somebody knows what I should do.
I want to copy paste a few PCBs on one big peace of pcb to make a cheaper order.
When I copy paste multiple pcbs Traxmaker changes the designations. All the names of the components are changed.

Does anybody know how I can avoid this?

It's been a while since I used Traxmaker, but I do believe that it will only allow one part designation per board. So copying "Q2" onto a larger board that already has "Q2" will rename the pasted instance. I don't know of any way to prevent this, nor any work around short of renaming the components on one or more boards.

Sadly, it doesn't look like Altium is keeping up Circuitmaker. It could be a pretty good "bargain" package with a little more work.

Mark

Well I tried renaming manually and it works. I have the same designation names on the same board but it takes to much time to do that.
