Question Amp / synthesizer and speakers for radio controlled cars/planes/..

Hi all,

I want a small and light audio system that can fit in to a radio controlled plane (or car) to play engine sounds. There are a few commercial solutions on the market, but none that fit my wishes. Im hoping someone here can help me out, either by pointing me to the right components, or perhaps even help me design a solution. Disclaimer, Im an absolute noob when it comes to electronics and audio.

Here is what I want:

Small (read: tiny) mono amplifier working off ~12V. I have no idea of required wattage, but it should be able to produce over 100db at 1 meter using (very) small, probably transducer speakers.

Synthesizer board that will read audio samples from an sdcard. I guess it should be able to mix sounds (to go from startup/shutdown sequence to normal engine sound), and be able to adjust audio pitch (and volume) depending on an external PWM signal. I should test, but Im assuming altering pitch will be enough to use one audio loop to simulate both low and high engine revs. On top of that, I want to alter the pitch to simulate/exaggerate the Doppler effect. This is where existing solutions fall short of my desires, I would use a GPS and speed sensor to determine speed relative to start position so that even a 1/10th scale electro plane can "sound" as if its traveling at >500KmH. This is the only part of this project Im familiar with, and I could supply the pitch/volume data as a 5V PWM signal from a flight controller.

Speakers. Given space and weight constraints, and the need for as good basses as possible, I would like to try some transducer speakers and use the EPO foam fuselage or wings as speaker surface. If there are better solutions for this applications, Id love to hear about it.

Any pointers would be appreciated.
