Hi everyone,
does anyone have any suggestions as to which Hi-Fi & Audio shops (better if DIY-oriented, of course!) are worth visiting in Kyoto?
The DIY audio scene is still pretty big in Japan, and I'd like to make the most of a business trip there to do some 'window shopping' (and possibly even some real one, who knows?). I am relatively familiar with Tokyo, but I've never been to Kyoto before, so any recommendations are welcome!
Thanks!
Marco

Kyoto is not the most beautiful city in Japan for DIYers.
Once upon a time some shops gathered in Teramachi in Kyoto but they all now disappeared.
I just searched DIYer's shop near Kyoto only to find the small seller

Consider visiting Nihonbashi in Osaka.
Osaka is 30min train travel from Kyoto and you'll find much more shops for DIYers.

I was in Kyoto for a few days a couple of months ago and I don't recall seeing a single diy-shop. However, Den-Den town in Osaka is definitely worth a visit.
Another place worthy of a stop is the Suntory Yamazaki distillery (which you'll pass by on the train from Kyoto to Osaka)
