BTW, the Dayton RS28f tweeters replaced a pair of Dayton RS28a aluminum dome tweeters that were in 2-way speakers, used with a sub..

Although they sounded great, I was never completely satisfied with the tweeters which sounded a bit harsh at times. They also had some nasty peaks..

After installing the new silk domes, (breaking them in for about 10 hours so far) the improvement is dramatic.
The speakers now have a much flatter high freq response and the tweeters are silky smooth.

The RS28f is a very worth while upgrade for the RS28a.
