Default A great loss!

A great loss for many ESL/audio lovers.

He was the father of the ESL.

May he rest in pease

We are all much richer for this man's life work.

It is almost always the same. Somewhere in an interview with
almost any Hi Fi luminary is a mention of first hearing the Quad speaker. That was usually when the addiction took serious hold.

Although I'm no luminary, I had the same experience- they were something that changed my interest in hifi into a sickness

I've always admired him for his combination of originality and common sense.
