...silver plated female connectors. Any issues? Or should the connectors be gold plated too? At this point, the female connectors are the ones I can change. The jack is gold plated (can't change it now).
Any known issues with gold to silver? I'm aware of an issue with "fritter" that Carver Corp. had (years ago) with gold to tin plated connections. Over time, there was some sort of reaction between these metals that caused a large increase in contact resistance. JF |
