Melbourne based electronic guru needed

I'm looking for an electrical engineer with experience in audio to help out on a small project.

Its basically dropping various off the shelf components together to make one unit that is a DSP and multi channel DAC in one. At this stage I'm considering miniDSP 2x8 and a buffalo III working together in a box to convert one digital input to 8 analogue outputs for an active bi amp project.

I'm pretty good with my hands but looking at the twisted pear website the buffalos too much for me.

If anyone could help out or knows someone with reasonable rates please feel free to contact me.

Google their website, where there are some contacts
They have a range of meets greets eats n listens too
I know someone in St Albans . .

how much are those Buffalos, posted to Aus, with all parts?

I couldnt say exactly how much a buffalo would cost. Would depend what case and misc bits you ended up using to complete the build.
