Default Your listening space and time

Hi All,

I am in the hunt for a new single home, and I got curious where in the house people listen to the music at home. I recently looked at many resale home, visited tons of open-houses, but not a single home had dedicated audio system. One house had ceiling audio setup, another had home theater system in the basement media room, and that's it.

I currently have too many amplifiers and speakers, and every single room in my current town home houses those systems.

Is it a trend not to display and show off your audio system in the family room? Is it just where I live? Or is it cultural? I am from Republic of Korea (aka South Korea), and homes in ROK do not have separate living room and family room. There usually is one big living+family room, which is good place for audio system.

Also, I used to play music all the time when I am at home, but I got married to a wife who does not like that. So I play music only weekend mornings.

Let us share your listening environment.
