Mini plug polarity

It's been a long time since I replaced a mini plug and I don't remember which part of the plug is for the left channel and which part the right channel. Is the front ring the left and the middle ring the left ?? The back part of plug is ground of course.

For a stereo TRS connector:

Tip = left
Ring = right
Shank = common ground

I guess I could have messed with the wiring and found out for myself but was toooooooo lazy LOL!! Quicker to post the question on this forum. Actually, it was approx 10 minutes between the time I posted till I got a reply.

In 10 mins I could have found the answer using trial and error..but if you're lazy...guess the lowest end being the gnd is the most easy to remember...the other 2 left and rights aren't...but just remember the tip is left...like in the RCA the white cable is left...
