Default Christmas tree positively effect room acoustics?

Just brought a particularly dense Christmas tree into our living room. There seems to be a noticeable improvement in HF clarity in the room...

I suppose it's a composite fractal acoustic absorber :-)

HAHAHA. I would speculate that a pine would be better at that than a fir or spruce, but it'd be an interesting experiment. You'll have to go buy one of each to find out. Also, don't forget the refractive qualities of the ornaments and tinsel!

Some of the ornaments may be high-Q resonators.
