Dead Realistic STA-2100D

When I first plugged this in it was completely dead. So far have eliminated the line cord, Fuse,Transformer. Downloaded the service manual and they indicated a .47 ohm resistor on the relay board might be bad,it was, so replaced it,fired it up and it blew that resistor. upon further checking I found the Output transistors are blown. My quuestion is would this receiver be worth spending approx $80 plus dollars for replacement transistors and not knowing right now if there might be more cost involved. Also, what brand transistors are reccomended because I read that NTE are not good. Tnx for any help
