Low Voltage Strike Lamp Sub in High Voltage Strike?
In short, Can I sub a 5k striking voltage lamp inplace of a 15K in my VT695 projector all else being equal. Seems there are some less expensive bare lamps instead of the VT85LP?

Thanks, Pete

Dang! Did I ask a dumb question?

Speaking for myself, I know audio, not lighting.

Well, thanks anyway Enzo! That's me as well. Don't know doodoo about lighting but considering the low cost of projectors now and BluRay potential, Im betting many of my audio mastering clients will get into computer based home theater video after seeing my rig.
There is some voodoo BS going on about replacement lamps and I'm trying to wade through it. I see $30 bare lamps that seem to be everything I need instead of $80 lamps. Of course, I know they used to be much much more. Again Thanks.
