I have 2 tangband W3871S drivers sitting around and want to use them in an arcade machine project.
What I need is an amp to power them and connect them to the PC sound card, and the amp needs a volume control. I really don't care if it's just a pcb or a kit or something more commercial, I just need something reliable with a volume control that will fit my needs. The drivers are 15 watt rms and 8ohm nominal. This is just a 1 driver per channel deal so AFAIK I don't need to worry about crossovers or anything. I'd hope to keep this under 35 US w/ shipping (preferably lower), but hit me with suggestions if you can and thanks! |

Your PC power supply already has 12V so why not get a cheap car amp at the local Circuit City. Don't worry about fidelity, your limiting factor is the sound card.
