Apple-type power bricks - connections?

Hi,

I've acquired a bunch of Apple compatible power bricks which could come in handy for low voltage audio things.
Thing is, these have a 4-way connector (looks like one of those mini-stereo plugs with a shield tube around them.
Anybody knows how these are connected?
Are the extra connections for battery management or remote shut off??

If you send an email to remind me i can check with the Apple Techs at the place i work part-time. I go in for a stop by every wed.

I probably have some but if you could sens a picture of the connector it would save some confusuion as there are zillions of variations.
