Default "Nature's new wonderstuff"

Anyone heard of this new material called "Nanocrystalline Cellulose"?

Pioneer Electronics are using it for next generation flexible displays and IBM are making components out of it and of course the US Military are getting in on the act, using it for body armour applications.
Apparently it is transparent, it conducts electricity, it's light and has eight times the tensile strength of stainless steel. It is also incredibly cheap as it can be manufactured from any wood waste whatsoever.
Seems like it might be making an appearance in the Audio industry real soon!

Check it out.

So, no sensible or interesting comments/thoughts about the future possibilities of the use of this material in the field of audio!?
There has got to be an application with speaker driver technology, even something quite radical. Transparent, strong, conducts electricity.........
