Impedance model for headphones and speakers?

How would the circuit elements be configured? I know that there will be series resistance, inductance, and parallel capacitance but does anyone have a schematic they could post? I'm doing some research on how output impedance of audio players and amplifiers affects the transfer function and thus frequency response, etc.

Have you tried Google? I think you will find lots of information out there.

You might want to do some literature searching as well- this is a topic where there's extensive modeling and data.

Google seems to only show schematics with the speaker symbol in amplification circuits. I have yet to find a schematic of it's actual elemental model.

I don't think it's all that easy to find on Google. Here's a link that I eventually found that I thought looked interesting:

Google 'loudspeaker equivalent circuit' gives lots of hits.
