Default Antenna choice for fireworks

Hello everyone,

First time posting here.

Looking of for a solution to receive a very near, 1 watt FM transmission.

This is being used to receive music which is being transmitted to accompany a fireworks show.

The clean frequency we found was 87.7

I was curious if a single quad or 2 element quad would be a good choice or if a simple folded dipole would be better.

Obviously I want to tune in a very narrow band.

Thank you!

nicholas

For lots of stuff on FM antennas, both DIY and commercial see:

88108 MHz

Shouldn't be much of a problem. Dipole transmitting antenna and the same for receiving.
If the transmitting antenna is vertical, make sure that the receiving antenna is vertical too.
