Wired published this story about new advances in CPU cooling:

http://www.wired.com/news/technology/0,1282,60733,00.html

According to the report they have a technique capable of cooling 1 KW/centimeter using a solid state electrokinetic pump with no moving parts and a tiny matrix of microchannels.

The manufacture, Cooligy,

Developed the technology as part of a DARPA program.

Looks like there is good potential to commercialize the technology to consumer audio electronics. I can envision transistors with integrated thermal transfer devices being used to build a really great and small ALEPH.

I would keep the Aleph at the same size.
According to the article we could upper the bias
times four. (250W/square cm vs. 1000W.)
And...according to Nelson who says more bias is better sound,
they would sound four times better. :D
