Since low pressure sodium is the most efficient light bulb, I've been trying to find portable versions I can use as a flashlight, with no success. There are ones that run on 12V DC but are too large and with too high wattage to be used as a flashlight. Are there any really low wattage LPS bulbs?

white LED: 15-25 lumens/W halogen: 25 lumens/W HID (mercury, etc.): 30-40 lumens/W red LED: 40 lumens/W (there is a special one around 100) fluorescent: 60-100 lumens/W HPS: 100-150 lumens/W LPS: 175-200 lumens/W |
