I have a Bose docking station (the one with the battery). I think it's an awesome product and hats off to the design team that hit all the right buttons: stylish, good sound given its dimensions, great for poolside sound. And most of all, my wife loves it and gets many hours of listening pleasure out of it.

Also in the advertising-money-perhaps-not-well-spent department, I just saw a banner ad on DIYAudio for "RadioShack.Com Speaker Sale."

The other thing to remember is that whilst this is diyAudio, not everyone DIY's everything!! Some people only do amps and would never think about building their own speakers, some build speakers but would never build an amp.
Some have wives that will insist that for the living room something small and unobtrusive fits the bill (lifestyle perhaps) and the husband will have his creations in his man cave. Also there are a huge amount of visits from non members who hit the site due to some google search, more than likely they are the ones the advertisments work on Tony. |

I looked up a product once somewhere - some kind of speaker/direct-box interface if I recall, and for the next week that product followed me around forum to forum in the banner ads.
Google ads or whoever pay for the clicks, not the appearances on the screen. |

Do Not Track Plus Firefox add-on removes tracking, and thus, personalised ads. Pretty nice.
