easy and free program for making a schematic?

whats a good program for making schematics? i have a pretty complex one and i dont think paint will cut it.

Well for one, ExpressPCB is free and does include a schematic tool. I've used it several times and altough it is far from perfect and can't simulate anything, it does do the job for rather complex schematics.
