I've started this as well, found it trough a friend. Refreshing some knowledge will do me good. Looks like it's got good potential.

The sandbox is no LTSpice. Ugh, horrid...

I had real actual difficulty with the maths.
Lab1 had a real "simple" prob with no simple
way to calculate the answer. Even when I got
it all down to some powers of just one variable,
I couldn't get my head around how to factor it.

I knew the correct answer intuitively, and could
prove with the sim. But I couldn't make the
equations work, and I spent some hours at it.
Algebra, and already I am stumped. What will
I do when the harder problems with trig come?

--------

It is very picky and non-intuitive how an answer
must sometimes be formatted. Else it throws an
"unknown error" with no clue which field offends.
I end up checking my answers one at a time,
just so I know which answer broke the checker.

The 'Unknown error' is really bad. It's for invalid formatting of the answer but it's not in any way helpful.

You gotta hate unhandled exceptions.

Been 50years almost since I last took a maths course. I'm a bit out of breath, as it were....

I was really looking forward to the course, as a refresher. The 'Unknown Error' after doing the exercises made me drop the course. It clears all your work, saves nothing. The online course is a great idea, with enthusiastic teachers. The material is spot on, just like my intro to EE 20 years ago. I just can't keep doing the exercises with no clue why it isn't accepting it. Be aware when you take the course - so upper case k (10^3) might be the culprit, or a space, who knows.

The errors aren't a showstopper, really, but are definitely annoying. Takes a few minutes of your time to actually figure them out. But coming from MIT, it's definitely quite the screw-up. I hope it'll get fixed quick.

Other than that I managed to get stuck on an exercise, finally, after solving 3 times and getting 3 different and wrong sets of answers.

Only had a problem with errors when I wrote the full equation, rather than simply an expression. I find that I need to make sure I review all aspects stated in the problem. Little things make a difference.

How is it going guys ?

I'm feel like a MOSFET well into saturation pushing towards cutoff.

Out of interest, I created the following graph showing the number of logins created during the first five weeks after announcement (>120,000 accounts).
