Revolution Power has some fuses that are are treated with a proprietary quantum level process. So what is a quantum level process and how does a manufacture apply it?
Technical:
To understand the advantage of the 99% Silver + 1% Gold combination, think about silver's crystalline structure. The drawing process for silver (or copper) wire causes micro cracks in the surface of the wire. The cooling process also results in imperfect crystal grid structures. Both of these "deformities", relative to the ideal of a perfect conductor, result in surface distortion when current flows through the wire. The addition of 24K gold fills the micro cracks and the empty spaces between the crystal boundaries to improve transmission properties, while also inhibiting the surface oxidation and tarnishing that will occur over time otherwise. These custom, precious metal fuses are also cryogenically treated using Europe's only cryo system from Cryogenics International (USA). Finally, the Supreme fuses are treated with a proprietary quantum level process.

I didn't know you could distort electrons by having micro-cracks in the surface of the conductor...
Also, anybody that uses "quantum" when describing an electrical device is definitely 'marketing' to audiophools...

It's a very state of the art technique wherein the phonons are all required to stand on the opposite side of the room from where the electrons pass. Each of the electrons is blindfolded and spun around several times before releasing so that their paths are properly randomized. A polaron flux is applied to align the random motions. With the phonons safely off to the side, the electrons can proceed without embarrassment. The reduced psychological stress on the electrons leads to greater intertransient silence, an increased sense of palpable imaging, and a more natural and relaxed texture to the music.
Short "Technical": "You're stupid. Give me money."
The cooling process also results in imperfect crystal grid structures.
Solution? Freeze it further. 😀

If you use well-designed industrial equipment, you won't have any problem with quantum levels:

Many years ago snake oil salesmen all used 'radium' in their products. Where genuine, it made people ill. Then everything had to be 'computer-controlled' (even a bread toaster - it could still burn toast). Now everything is 'quantum' or 'cryogenic'. Maybe soon everything will include 'Higgs' or 'dark energy'.
Note that "imperfect crystal grid structures" are an important source of electron scattering, which is the origin of electrical resistance (and a contributor to thermal resistance?). No scattering means no resistance. You need electrical resistance in a fuse (and some thermal resistance) otherwise it doesn't heat up and doesn't act as a fuse. To the extent that their processing works, it reduces the effectiveness as a fuse!!

These fuses might be the long lost missing link between reality and Quantum Purifiers...
As to the quantum level process, they probably shine a light on them for inspection.

Try these two options:
1. Got some fuses here, really nice $80 each.
2. Quantum BS cryo blah blah electron scatter yaddah yaddah, veils will be dropping like the dance of seven for the amazingly low price of $80!!
Equally inane but many will go for pitch #2.

The description reminds me of superconductors. The wire can take a certain amount of current, but above that (due to the magnetic field it generates and something-or-other), it is no longer a superconductor. It seems to me this would be a near-ideal fuse....

No doubt there's some snake oil salesman lurking here who is now going to claim his fuses are superconducting up to the rated blow current.
Superconductors work in a different way. The crystal imperfections are still there, but the paired electrons don't notice them.
However, can you imagine the fuss in audio when someone actually manages to make a genuine room temperature superconductor? We will all be drowning in snake oil.

The proper scam-artist term is "near superconductive." Since it's meaningless, the cops can't bust you for claiming that.
But guys, I need to know all about this quantum level process so that I can apply it to my skate blades and go faster.
Close. I have a good definition for "near virgin" but it's probably not appropriate here! 😀
I'm going to guess it has something to do with "Third Base."😀😀
Peace,
Dave
Much worse. Trust me on that. 😀
I'm thinking of Willie Dixon now and one of his memorable songs.😉

Covered by the Doors, if memory serves.
