I'm pretty sure you all are familiar with the Australian wonder who designs circuits (Rode Elliot) his website (sound.westhost.com/).
I've tried some of his PCB's and they are pretty good. Now I'm attempting his 300w subwoofer amp, god i hope someone here built it before the setup I'm running has a power supply very beast 600VA (56-0-56VDC), 8 power transistors (MJLs) in all (his high power version), probably some of you guys know if your familiar with P68 I'm allowed to use up to 70 Volts with the extra transistors, i have a 2 channel setup. Questions: *do you think I could safely bridge this amp into 4ohms? using the 56VDC and the 8 power transistors on each channel *do you think this amp could be stable down to 2ohms each channel with the mentioned supply voltage. regards, Mr.Dragon |

Hi, If you have bought pcb's off Rod, then you should be able to access his forum, and ask questions there. Probably no where better to get the answers than from the designer
Tony. |

I have successfully ran his P68 on 2 ohms before but that was using 5 pairs of MJ15003/4 transistors which are 250W on 50V rails.
