Howdy,

If you don't have a homepage, you can apply for a free hosting service on GeoCities.com or Tripod.com or any free web hosting service out there; or, you could check with your Internet provider, they usually give you 1-5 megabytes of free web space on their servers along with your Internet account. For those free web hosting services, most of them have an easy to use web interface to upload your files; for the space on your Internet provider, you will probably need to use a FTP client program, to make the upload.

After you put the image online, note down its address; usually it is in one of these formats: http://username.domain.com/image.jpg (called a subdomain), http://www.domain.com/username/image.jpg , http://www.domain.com/~username/image.jpg (your Internet provider will probably use this), or http://www.domain.com/more/complicated/address/image.jpg (used by GeoCities, but you can also use the http://www.domain.com/username/image.jpg as well). The FTP program can hint you where the files are located, and the web interface for uploading the files can provide you the same information.

Then, when you compose a post here, to insert the image you use: , of course putting the correct format for the image location there. The alt="description" element is optional, the description appears in the place of the image as it loads, and when you hold the mouse above the image; it's a good idea to use it, easy to make descriptions for what each photo represents this way.

Welp, that's about all. Hope you understood something of my babbling here :) G'luck!
