Im just curious when it comes 2 this and dont really have my own answer.
When Dealing in any audio playback scenario. Or any audio card 2 desktop software.. What would the standard of eq be? So In example.. I buy a SB Audigy.. we all know the diles set manufactured are always at the equals of center or the half. But what is the Equalization really stock set 2 ? Then combining those with windows... or any daw.. like tv. into tuner into amp What is the windows standard eq on top of the audio card or onboard hardware manufacturer specs... And the same for all audio equipment... Obviously even in old and new hardware.. the use or presence of the Band itself is full even in most old televisions inevidably the signal was the largest loss of audio... Again though even these Hardwares the attune to the rates band what is considered standard Legislation in the audio signal curve itself Anyone know the base standards and how i can match que the outputs to the eq curve and only adjust my post audio process on the eq side ? |

None. If you need EQ something isn't working correctly. I confess to using some very mild EQ on the main system. Mild being <3dB cut around 250Hz with a fairly broad Q to get rid of 'tubbiness' but most folks don't notice it.
I don't understand your TV reference. I've worked in commercial TV, post production and duplication for 35 years. The audio coming to your TV is likely better than your playback gear - and has been for a LONG time. There is certainly audio tweaking during production but after that it's expected to be 'flat' through the rest of the system. G² |
