I picked up a cheap DaVinci tube amp receiver. It is a cheap amp and the unit has a small bass speaker built in. My idea is strip everything off that I don't need and build a small bass guitar amp. If possible mono strap everything together and stick it in a new cabinet with a new speaker.
What down falls do you see off hand with this setup? |

If it's single ended it may have limited LF response in which case it won't suit a bass amp all that well?
