I just loaded Microsoft Office 97 on my computer and the Toolbar keeps popping up and I can't seem to get rid of it. Does anyone know how to get rid of it. The best I seem to be able to do is use the auto hide but I want to be able to get ridof it completely.
Thanks; Doug |

On the office toolbar right click the small icon in the upper left corner. Choose Exit/Close.
A dialog will pop up asking if you want to have the toolbar next time you restart. Click No. Restart. And you will find the toolbar no longer appears. |

Thanks for the help, it worked. I right clicked on everything except the little icon on the left, I never thought of clicking there.
I recently downloaded the Windows Media Player, how do you make it the default player? When I put an audio CD in, the old player, the one that comes with Win98 keeps opening. If I remember correctly, the last time I downloaded the Windows Media Player it asked me if I wanted to make it my default player. What gives Doug |
