Cheap PCB Mfg of small quan boards?

Anyone have any leads on where to have some prototype PCB's made? I need maybe 2-3 of each board and I have tried barebonespcb.com who i have always used but the prices have gone way up!

Hi,
Try Futurlec, The Electronic Components and Semiconductor Superstore. They fabricate good boards at reasonable price.

If you can afford to wait, Batch PCB is pretty popular.
For small boards, Sunstone's ValueProto isn't a bad deal either as you get solder mask on both sides and a silk screen.

I have been using a company called "Silver Circuits" based in Malasia I think. Very good service and pricing. Very high quality boards, too.

They do prototype runs of a few boards for a reasonable cost. I have also done a few low volume (e.g. 50-100 boards) production runs. I have been very happy with them.

I am currently giving Futurlec a try and i am NOT thrilled with there service so far! very very poor communication and then they double/overcharged my credit card! my order was $65 which they charged...then charged $229 which was a mistake! they claim they are going to refund the 2nd charge...

there communication is terrible. they have never updated the website with my order. i had to email them multiple times with no response. finally i sent an email to the sales email line and got a response. very very frustrating!

They may be cheaper....but definitely not better. I think i will pay a little bit more and go with someone else with better customer service!

I had made a post in the Vendor's Forum last week; I am experimenting with a new Batched PCB service for the DIY community (PCBs are not my business, really). 2-sided boards, $1.50 per square inch, no setups or minimum. Details in that post.
