Best way to connect various components to Audioengine A5-self powered speakers

I have a pair of Audioengine A5 speakers that I am very pleased with. Problem is that they only have RCA inputs. I would like to attach the following items using a preamp (?) of some sort:

• Mac Mini
• Radio with a rec out or headphone out (specifically this: http://www.amazon.com/Sangean-CL-100.../dp/B003QHXZM4)
• Apple TV2
• Insignia TV with non variable analog out and optical out

The only thing I have been able to find that costs around $200 and will suit my needs is this:

Does this sound like a good solution or would you recommend something else? I don't want a bulky receiver. I am trying to keep audio equipment as inconspicuous as possible.
