There are, however, lots of folks who have legally DIY'ed nuclear fusion reactors in their homes. They call themselves Fusioneers - here is a list of them from their DIY website.

Thanks for the link. I'm counting the days until somebody uses the fusor technology to build a power supply for a tube amp or subwoofer here.
