Hi. I recently acquired a rowe ami jukebox that plays cds. Model # CD-100E Serial number 1493 It played cds no prob..Volume was great as well. I then decided I needed the lights to work.
there are 4 little white switches (lamp control music and standby switches) which I moved into different positions. I then tried to play a cd again and nothing. If it attempts to pick up an empty slot u can see the laser bounce up and down and the silver piece the cd sits on spins. However it does nothing with an actual cd on the laser part. As u can probably tell I do not know alot about these things. Anyone have any ideas/suggestions as to what I might attempt in order to get the cd player working again? any and all help will be greatly appreciated. Shawn |

Did you try moving the switches back? Especially the standby switch? If there is a switch marked service/operate or something like that, try it. And have you closed the box? I don't recall the innards of that one, but a lot of them have a little flap that pushes a switch back into the operate position when the cover closes. I don't know what you did, but I suspect you put the box in service mode.
