external aerial adapter for GSM ( N3310 etc)

Does anybody know how is constructed the adapter for trasmission of signal from external aerial to mobile phone with intergrated internal aerial? There is some plastic part which lies on the back side of the phone. Is there any coil or small dipole so?

The only way I know is to buy a car kit for it.
