........the rule being never, ever purchase anything sold by Pyle!
A couple of months ago I purchased. a Pyle CD player...... bad mistake. First, the remote died after a few weeks an now the player fails to recognize some CDs. It did not sound that great also ....not bad but, not great either. So, I just orderd a single disk TEAC player, "CD-P1260" I hope it wiil be of better build quality and have better sound. BTW, I'm old school, I hate muti-disk CD players.

Update:
I just got a phone call from Pyle (warranty dept) and was basically told that I do not know how to use a remote and there is nothing wrong with mine. What a complete joke they are! |

Ha! They don't call it a Pyle for nothing.
A buddy of mine was cursing and ranting about some Pyle drivers he had bought. I took to calling him "Sgt. Carter." It stuck. (Remember Gomer Pyle, USMC?) Pyyyyyyyllle! |

Yeah
![]() Anyway, the Teac player should be here in a few days. It's not their high end player but, it is a TEAC!

I got the Teac today!
It does sound better..... not as harsh sounding as the Pyle. I guess it's due to less distortion, etc. CDs now sound more like the original vinyl. It's also about the same price as the Pyle. Sadly, I did not come across the Teac when I was first searching for a single disk CD player. |
