I was looking at the VH Audio page on his silver wire interconnects.
http://www.venhaus1.com/diysilverinterconnects.html[/URL]

He wraps the silver wire around FEP Teflon tubing. I'm concerned about the wire shifting around on the tubing and wondered:

1. Is there an adhesive I could use on the tubing to more securely hold the wrapped wire in place that would not have an adverse affect on the sonic properties of the interconnect.

2. Or can I use a 1/4"- 3/8" twisted rope as the core and wrap the wire around that. Again what kind of rope would be most and least appropriate to use

The advantage of using twisted rope is that the positive and ground would lay securely in their individual groves. Home depot has a variety of nylon, assorted poly, cotton, and hemp ropes. Any suggestions of other sources for rope?

I looked at the Jon Risch site about interconnects:

Any suggestions of where to find Foamed Teflon TFE?

Thanks for any suggestions and insights.
