I've got two speaker boxes (old) each containing three speakers - a woofer, a mid and a tweeter.
The speaker company is Bolton. Underneath each speaker have written their details. WOOFER (10") : 25 A W 22 8Ω 50W MAX MID (5") : 12 D M 2 8Ω 40W MAX TWEETER (3") : 8 B T 2 8Ω 50W MAX Each speaker box have a small circuit board (may be for signal transmission) inside. I don't have an amplifier. I don't want to build one. I need to buy.So I need which type amplifier should buy. It'll be great if anyone helps me. |

The circuit board in the speakers will be a crossover network,
Crossover Networks for Loudspeakers Only you can decide what amp to buy... depends how much you have to spend and what your expectations are... and what your speakers are like.

Do preassembled boards like those of Hifimediy and Arjenhelder count as DIY or commercial?
