Has anyone modified their DVD player to prevent the pause that occurs when the playback switches between layers on a dual-layer disc?
I'm guessing that this would require a FIFO memory cache for the data stream, but the question would be how to implement this? Other questions... how much memory? Do you have to spin faster like the anti-shock systems on portable CD? Are there kits? :)ensen. I recall one or two posts on this but a search for "dual layer DVD pause" yielded no results.
