Gaming close-up subwoofer thumper
I have a gaming chair the back of which is open mesh. I run several games -- especially racing sims -- that use a LOT of low-frequency noise to simulate engine sounds, suspension bumps, etc. What I'd like to do is build a one or two (side-by-side) speaker box (powered by an external amp, up to a 100Wx2 or bridged 200W Hafler DH200). what I need is a system that will amplify the game's sound, and push a lot of sound pressure into my back -- basically a subwoofer attached to the back of my gaming chair.

Any ideas?

What about a bass shaker?

OOOh cool, I was thinking the same thing. And the one in your link even shows some game applications as examples.

Cal --

Thanks for the heads-up on the Bass Shaker. To tell you the truth, I'd forgotten it even existed! Exactly what I need, thanks again!
