All,
I'm interested in making a low freq oscillator (think less than 1Hz, about half or quarter Hz). Also, square wave is out, since I want to use it to smoothly pulsate a lightbulb or LED. Oh, and it would be very mucho cool if the circuit could include a timer to auto shut off. (to save batteries) (this is a lot to ask, I know.) Oh, and it must be makeable from parts I can get here in the Netherlands. P.s. While I don't have much experience with SS electronics, I have built a few tube guitar amps. |

Phase shift oscillator (amp with voltage gain of 26(?) feeds three-stage RC network) or Wien bridge oscillator. Google will be your friend.
