AVE...

I bought new used oscilloscope: C1-79, made in USSR. Unfortunately I don't speak Russian and I don't know, how to use half of it's function. Could someone fluent in Russian translate for me the labels from the front panel?

What a funny piece of rusty iron.

А means "channel A"
Б means "channel B"
время задерж. - Delay Time
множ. задерж. - Delay Multiplier
время/дел. - Time/Div.
плавно - fine
грубо - rough
ВЧ - high frequency
НЧ - low frequency
СИНХР. - synchronization
ГОТОВ. - Ready (button means reset trigger)
РАЗВЕРТКА - scan, or time sweep (means trigger there)
подсв. - highlight
растяжка - stretch
умнож. - multiplied by
полярн. - polarity or slope
уровень - level
СЕТЬ - Power
балансир. - adjustment, balance
авт. - automatic
внутр. - internal
внеш. - external
1:10 - x10
КАНАЛ I - channel 1
КАНАЛ II - channel 2
V/дел. - Volts/Div.
плавно - fine tuning (or calibration)
УСИЛИТЕЛЬ Y - Vertical amplifier
полоса - bandwidth
полная - full range
поочер. - swapped
прер. - interrupted
сумм. - mixed (add.)

Could you tell me, what is the meaning of the captions next to the switch on the left from "ГОТОВ. - Ready" button?

Maybe it's rusty, but it works...

The switch controls 3 horizontal synchronization trigger mode:
авт. - automatic
ждущ. - waiting
однокр. - one time.

By the way, a plastic handle is missing on the The Time/Div selector.
