Music Library Software Suggestions

So I have a problem. My music library has reached the point where it is so large that the programs I use slow down when you try to do anything (I am currently at 186k songs @ 1.2 TB). Ie. in winamp, if I click on Most Played, it can take over 20 seconds just to pull up the list. I have tried other programs such as media monkey and foobar2000 but they didnt have quite the same functionality.

I am looking for a clean and FAST player. Any suggestions?

JRiver is what I use and find that it has the best library tools and interface of any.
I'm at 136K tracks and it has no problem with that.

If you just play music then the free version 12 works great. The pay version has a lot more built in features, like remote control and web interface, that are cool. Also does video (including streaming) and images.
