Finished the AV stand...finally
Didn't really know what section to post this. I'm very proud of how it turned out after 2 months in the making. Wood panels are walnut veneered ply finished in 7 coats of waterlox original, glued up with dominoes (like biscuits only better IMO) for a clean look. Glass is 3/8" thick beveled/polished, all shelf pins are sleeved for durability (to ensure they don't eventually sag over time), casters at the 4 corners and a brace across the middle for support. Still debating on putting some sort of back on it, but it will eventually be full of equipment, cd's/DVd's, etc. At the very least I will probably paint the wall plates to match.
