The IC number is CD9088CB
I have a stereo transmitter. It's a Maxell make. I have a cheapo headphone FM receiver and is a single chip with two push buttons. This is a mono and I have other Walkman and one more small stereo receiver. The headphone has two advantages over these stereo receivers- the channels can be changed at the press of a scan pushbutton, which I find is very convenient. the second advantage is that it is solo, self contained unit without wires. I want to connect the audio from CD9088CB (IC in the Headphone receiver) to a stereo decoder. Will this IC or all the FM ICs output MPXed stereo audio. Thanks in advance. Gajanan Phadte |

It very well may. IIRC the TDA7088 does.
Here's a link to a TDA7088 circuit I found online: http://www.eleccircuit.com/wp-conten...8-receiver.gif |
