Barry White is gone, he was only 58.

My wife and I met him at an airport once. He had an entourage of several ladies, all impressively dressed. As we chatted, women kept coming up, hearing the voice, and swooning. Not my kind of music, but a fine fellow who really had "it."

A one of a kind singer and highly successful when I was a young man...

Although I never really was into Disco, Barry had that little extra.

58 is way too soon to leave us anyway you look at it.
