Help finding transportable audio rack / speaker stands
Hey guys, I am currently a college student who travels 400 miles up to school at the end of every summer. I am currently shopping around for a sturdy audio rack (& speaker stands) that will be easily transportable (preferably coming apart and packing nicely) so that I am able to use them during both the summer and the school year. I have been using a two cheap target wire racks taped together, however this is pretty unstable and I am not confidant in its ability to hold my audio equipment.
I am interested in both commercial solutions, commercial solutions that need to be "hacked" and DIY solutions. Preferably this would be pretty cheap (being a student) while still being sturdy. I already have a pair of speaker stands (metal) that fits the bill, as they come apart into three pieces. Something similar to that would be great, I just dont know where to look for products/inspiration.
The speaker stands I would be looking for would be for a pair of Paradigm Monitor Atoms, or for a pair of custom-built TriTrix vented cabinets (Not the transmission line ones).
