Default quest speaker switch

i just found one of these at the goodwill store. i have no experience with them. so it is safe to hook in 8 speakers pairs and run them off of one amp?

that is what it is for but i have read no reviews or anything.

is it safe with tube amps?

It's a switch ,nothing more , nothing less .
I guess it is some kind of selector ,otherwise it would not have much sense , to parallel ( I guess it paralyzes the amps !) up to 8 speakers.

it has circuitry in it though. some 25 watt resistors. it is for running multiple speakers from one amp. up to 8 pairs
