I have recorded many MP3's, never a movie.

The Samsung CD recorder I have-more accurately, the one my friend whom I am helping has-came with Easy CD Creator by Roxio. He also has downloaded NTI burning software.

Question: Both these programs give you the chance to select Audio or Data CD's. There is no Video CD option to select.

Which one do you choose? Or do you need to download updates to the software?

Thanks.

Nero is indeed a nice and easy program to burn movies
unless you have to convert an AVI-file for example into the appropriate mpg-file for the VCD.
Standalone programs will do this conversion at a much better quality. Last time I´ve burnt a movie I used TMPGEnc
which is OK but there might be better encoders.
