I dont know where you live but you are not going to get anything cheaper than this < Wireless FM Transmitter + Car Charger for iPod/mp3 on eBay (end time 08-May-10 09:13:52 BST) >
You dont even have to make it!! Tony. |

I'm sorry. I didn't read it fully. It can run from AAA Batteries.
But, whats the fun in buying and not making. And suppose if I want a range of 100m then? Well thanks for replying. |

I have been playing around with a home made wireless link using a pair of AV modules (available from Jaycar in Australia) Audio only. Quality is surprisingly good, and with 2.4G panel antennas range is 100m+ the transmitter is only 1mW
These are modules that might be found on a PC card I presume. They run off 5V Hugh |

Wireless SPDIF would be awesome... but does it exist?
I'll just wait for wireless USB. Or wireless Bluetooth, those sure exist, but a cheap digital-out solution, no. Cheap analog out solution, yes. http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.8422 The audio is transmitted digitally from any bluetooth device, like a handphone, or laptop.
