I am quite Keen to buy a Musical Fidelity v-dac I'm Running a Sony CD player into a Yamaha AX396 Amp And Monitor Audio Bronze 2 speakers
What am i wondering .. well.. All the reviews i seem to have read. have said its a great tool . But none of the reviews i have read. No ones said what ether side of the v-dac. What happens lets say if you have a Cheep and cheerful Amp Cheap and less cheerful CD player and Speakers that cost less than both and less than The v-Dac. What are you actually comparing the improvement in sound with? No one setting Reference if you like or minimum requirement that your going to be swept of your feet to hear the diffrence. So im feeling reluctant to part with my £150 at the moment. Is that fair comment. |
